Switch between the four members of the Fantastic Four to utilize unique abilities for combat and puzzle-solving. Using an isometric perspective, players engage in beat 'em up action to hunt Doctor Doom through levels themed after the 2005 film. Combat mechanics and character-specific powers allow for varied approaches to clearing enemies and progressing through the environments.
